If you are experiencing trouble applying the StewMac gift card to your order, it could be the result of a few different issues: 


1 - You already have a payment attached to the order in your cart (credit card, PayPal, etc.). You will need to remove any saved payments already being attached to the order, and be sure to enter your gift card number during checkout before entering the payment information for any remaining balance. 


2 - The total for your order has not been reduced - Please note that the gift card will not reduce the total amount of the order, it will simply reduce the amount that your method of payment is charged for the remaining balance after the gift card is applied. So the amount of the order will remain the same even though the gift card is being applied, and your payment will only be charged for the amount that the gift card does not cover. 


3 - If you are receiving a message that says that the gift card has already been used, then either the gift card has indeed already been used on a previous order or it is already being applied to the current order in your shopping cart. You can check to see if the gift card is being applied in the Select a payment method portion of your account.


4 - If the gift card number field is blank in email that you received, please let us know by contacting us through our feedback widget or emailing service@stewmac.com and we will be glad to help.
